Announcing zkRollup’s first public testnet

On Wednesday afternoon, at EthCC, we announced that our zkRollup is now up and running on ethereum’s Göerli testnet.

This testnet is purely for transfers (not arbitrary smart contracts), and fully supports ERC20 tokens.

And while it’s just a command line interface for now, all the moving parts are in place!

Going forward, we’ll be focusing on optimizing the individual parts as much as possible. In particular, reducing the most important bottleneck: proof-generation.
